The mission of the Ottawa River Rescue Squad is to save lives, administer first aid, river rescue, and body recovery. This August we will begin our 54rd year of continuous volunteer service to Ottawa and the surrounding 50 mile area.
As an organization we are solely dependent on the financial support of the communities we serve. This means that all members of the squad are expected to participate in the annual fund drive as a personal effort to help maintain the services we provide to our community.
The Ottawa River Rescue Squad is made up of a maximum membership of 50 unique and dedicated individuals. Although our membership is diverse in background and experience the common thread that bonds us as a unit is each persons compassion and dedication to the residents of Ottawa and those that visit our wonderful city.
